On every single video footage I've seen when comparing *audio only - Project CARS is way ahead of Assetto Corsa.
Assetto Corsa has a lot of muffled and over-powering bass.
Project CARS got it right with the sound mixing. The rattle, shakes and whoosh of the engine can clearly be heard along with the accompanying background noise - wind, tire roar/braking
1. Bloodrayne and Bayonetta.
2. Silent Hill and Fatal Frame.
3. Dead or Alive and Thrill Kill ( banned PS1 game )
4. Sam Fisher ( Splinter Cell ) and Solid Snake ( Metal Gear Solid )
2 things, either BBC will hire a new set of host/s for TopGear UK or kill it off completely.
Think Mr. May and Mr. Hammond even if they have other shows of their own will also go with Jeremy on the way out of TGUK.
Forza will survive without the TopGear track or it's hosts'.
That is just so uncool.
Honestly.
Nice trailer.
There should be an option in the menu to mix and match between each characters' undies/clothes and see them being torn during the match.
I do think they need to build-in a camera with a PIP or picture-in-picture screen in the goggles so the gamer can also **see what's happening outside.
This will be a very important feature in case some unforeseen incident happens - like a fire outbreak inside or within your next door neighbor., maybe an outside intruder.. you really wouldn't be able to know since the gamer could be too caught up with the VR experience.
Hope they build and include Circuit of the Americas sometime in the near future.
I'd also like to see more butt jiggling as well.
Bloody hell I didn't even know there was a back story within after all the actual fighting/events that's been going on..
Just kinda lost my interest after DOA4 on the XBox360 for no reason at all.
For sure the entire art dept. crew of GranTurismo led by Mr. Kaz-san would have had an in-depth look at the various racing games presently out and soon-to-be. ( DriveClub, Forza5 and Horizon, {PC-only} Assetto Corsa and maybe a load of videos of Project CARS over the net ) and add actual footage of various racing events for reference.
I believe the first thing they will (need) to vastly improve is audio.
GranTurismo always had that trademark very clean and sh...
Greedy I think is not the correct word it's just a very *questionable and frankly unwise marketing ploy.
In a country where they're already selling Easter hot cross buns when the New Year's just finished.
"NX" needs a "T" so it would read like N(E)XT.
If the audio option on the various game's respective menu set-ups wasn't touched, fully and clearly Project CARS beats them all on sound.
From zero to hero.
Seriously the most improved and still improving racing game.
Just hope they keep their word on May release date.
Wonder what freebies they'll give out for all the delay?
I can totally understand the developers reasoning and full respect to that.
What's disappointing is the fact it's been pushed back 3 times.. technically 5 which is a bit too much.
Just don't publish release dates if you think it's not 100% done because you'll get a lot of negative flack and well deserved angry response from gamers'.
I see Mario like I see Mickey Mouse.
Best characters/mascots to introduce kids - Mickey Mouse for TV/Film -- Mario to gaming.
Thrill Kill and still play it from time-to-time.
I can see Oculus having more application outside of gaming.
Besides porn I do think Oculus will have far reaching use in the fields of -- Engineering/Architecture, Medical, Military, Geographical, Aquatic and don't forget NASA.
Since they are all using PC as their base equipment.
I hope between the US$250-350 mark with the Sony Eye camera as standard.
They could bundle it with a VR-related game ( like say Project CARS or a Sony exclusive VR-demo/actual game ) which could even push the price a little bit further.
